Welcome to Cuebook ("we," "our," or "us"). Cuebook is an open community cookbook and mobile application designed to discover, copy, share, and organize prompt recipes for AI image generation (such as ChatGPT and Google Gemini).

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use the Cuebook mobile application (available on Google Play Store) and our web platform at https://cuebook.net.

2. Information We Collect

We collect minimal information necessary to deliver and operate our services:

• Account Information: When you choose to sign in via Google Authentication, we receive your public Google profile information, including your full name, email address, unique user ID, and avatar profile picture.
• User-Generated Content: Any prompts, titles, descriptions, categories, model tags, and preview images that you create, publish, save, like, or comment on within the platform.
• Device & Technical Diagnostics: Standard technical information such as device model, operating system version, app version, IP address, and anonymized performance or crash logs to ensure platform reliability.
• Local App Cache: Offline saved prompts, bookmarks, and theme preferences are stored locally on your device using encrypted SQLite / Drift database.

3. Device Permissions

The Cuebook mobile application may request the following permissions only when required:

• Photo Library / Storage: Used exclusively when you choose to attach image preview samples to your prompt posts.
• Camera (Optional): Used only if you capture a photo preview directly within the post compose screen.
• Internet Access: Required to sync prompt recipes, authenticate accounts, and load image previews from Cloud Storage.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information solely for the following purposes:

• To display your public creator profile and published prompt recipes.
• To enable community features (following creators, comments, likes, saves).
• To prevent spam, abuse, intellectual property violations, and unsafe content.
• To operate, maintain, and optimize application performance.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your personal information for third-party targeted advertising.

5. Third-Party Infrastructure Services

We rely on trusted, industry-leading cloud infrastructure providers that process data under strict confidentiality agreements:

• Google Firebase (Firestore, Authentication, Cloud Storage): For user authentication, cloud database, and image preview hosting.
• Cloudflare: For web edge hosting, caching, SSL encryption, and CDN performance.

6. AI Services Disclaimer

Cuebook is a cookbook and catalog of prompt text recipes. Cuebook does not directly generate AI artwork on its servers. When you use the "Open in ChatGPT" or "Open in Gemini" actions, you interact directly with OpenAI or Google according to their respective privacy terms and agreements.

7. Data Retention & Account Deletion

You have the right to request deletion of your account, published prompts, comments, and all associated personal data at any time.

To request full account or data deletion, simply send an email to our official email contact below with your account email and username. Requests are processed within 7 business days.

8. Children's Privacy

Cuebook is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, we will immediately delete it from our servers.
